A NEW LOOK!! A NEW NAME!!

If you've ever been to my Shaw members webpage before, I don't need to explain to you that this is quite the change in appearance compared to what I had there. You can see the obvious aesthetic overhaul. But what is new is my new name! Welcome to shonrite.com.

...if you've never been here before, then please let me explain: this is quite the change in appearance compared to what I had at my Shaw members webpage. There was an obvious aesthetic overhaul. What is also new is my name: shonrite.com.

*blink, blink*

Anyway, this is sort of my foray into web design. I've discovered I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this sort of thing. What you see - as simple as it is - actually took me hours and hours to put together, and that was even using a template that I downloaded. The template gave me the basic layout, but I wanted to change several things to customize the look to my own preferences. So yeah, I had to sort of teach myself as I went along, and that opened my eyes as to how stupid I really am in this whole HTML/CSS web language.

But, whattya' think so far? I know it's simple, but it's sure a hell of a lot nicer to look at than what I had before. And I'll no doubt be making changes here and there as I go along, so it'll only get better. (See the little picture in the address bar? Neat, eh? See the way all the buttons change colour? Anyhoo, go ahead and click around, check things out. Just know that right now, I don't have a hell of a lot up here for you to look at. It'll be a work in progress, and as time goes by, I hope to put up more interesting things. So be sure to check back from time to time to see what's new... but for now, yeah, what you see is what you get.
